Know an aspiring journalist? Time is running out for a chance to take advantage of a scholarship program to support journalism students! Students who are enrolled in a journalism program for the fall are invited to submit an essay for a chance to receive a $1,000 scholarship toward their post-secondary education. Entries must be submitted by the end of day on August 27, 2021. A teen with connections to a local ski hill is continuing his efforts to support local charity by organizing a ski sale at Beaver Valley Outreach. This is the second fundraiser Duncan Armstrong has planned, and he's on track to raise $30,000 for the local charity.
