CollingwoodToday welcomes letters to the editor at [email protected] or via our site. I strongly believe that the main reason, or at least one of the reasons, for Collingwood not having affordable housing is the town allows people to buy houses that are perfectly fine and demolish them and put up a huge, unaffordable house for anyone to buy or purchase.

I hate to say "this town needs an enema."

Put a stop to the stupidity of allowing anyone to build whatever they want, wherever they want. The town needs better planning and a clear and concise plan for the future. I blame this solely on the lack of a good mayor and council.
