Two Collingwood sisters have become “virtual grandchildren” by creating videos for seniors. Anikka and Kaija were sad to think about seniors in nursing homes not getting visits, so they created a video series of virtual visits featuring songs, stories, jokes, and even the occasional puppet show. You can watch our video interview with the girls here.

Today’s essential worker of the day is Debbie Smith.

CollingwoodToday would like your help in recognizing local essential workers from health care workers, physicians, cashiers and delivery drivers. If you'd like to say thanks to someone you know, please send a photo, their name, their job title, and your words of thanks to [email protected]. Please only send photos and information with permission.
