The Town of The Blue Mountains would like to advise the public that the Town will be providing relief from the provisions of the Town’s Long Grass and Noxious Weeds By-law for the month of May 2023 (“No Mow May”).
The relief applies only to residential properties for the month of May and only for the long grass provision for grass height above 10 inches. By-law staff will continue to enforce any noxious weed issues in accordance with By-law 2003-25.
Participation in ‘No Mow May’ is voluntary, and residents may continue to maintain their property for the month of May.
Town-owned land will continue to be maintained at the standard service level.
