The Collingwood Skating Club would like to send a big thank you to all who attended, sponsored, volunteered in, and skated for our 71st annual carnival: Evolution of Dance.

The Saturday afternoon show was an overwhelming success with a big, supportive and enthusiastic audience cheering on our skaters as they proudly presented their talent and hard work.

From the small “chickens” to the national-level competitors who skated as guests for the show, all felt so proud as they took their bows to an arena full of applause.

It is a great community that supports its youth this way.

As a not-for-profit organization, the Collingwood Skating Club relies on the support of the community and we are so grateful to all of our sponsors who made this carnival possible, and who support our young skaters throughout the entire year.

Thank you, Collingwood Skating Club executive members and carnival committee volunteers, for the hours and hours of work you put into the show and into the skating season to make sure it’s filled with amazing memories for our skaters.

Finally, a special ‘thank you' goes out to our fantastic coaching team. We appreciate the creative energy you devote every year to our skaters and to making our annual carnival so entertaining, engaging and fun!

This year we have been blessed to welcome Olympic silver medalist Elizabeth Manley to our coaching team. Her enthusiasm for our sport has been contagious and inspiring to our young skaters!

The Collingwood Skating Club runs programs year-round, check out what we’re up to on our Facebook page, or on our website.
