The Town of The Blue Mountains would like to advise the public of an upcoming temporary road closure. Elma Street South will be closed from Arthur Street West to Louisa Street West for the continuation of the Thornbury West Phase 1A Reconstruction project. The closure is tentatively scheduled to begin on Thursday, June 15.
The road will remain closed seven days a week to all traffic with the exception of emergency vehicles and local traffic. For further information regarding construction impacts, please review the Construction Notice. All construction is anticipated to be completed by August 2023, but the road closure may be lifted before that time based on progress.
