Birdie making season has officially arrived and there will be plenty of opportunities for local golfers of all ages to get their swings into shape for the coming summer.
The Town of The Blue Mountains has officially announced that its municipal golf course in Thornbury opened for the season on May 2.
Single rounds for the upcoming season will be $18 per round. Tee times can be booked five days in advance. To book a tee time, please call (519) 599-3131 ext. 350 or via email.
In its news release, the town advised tee times are booked every 10 minutes, with the first being at 8 a.m. and the last at 6 p.m. Tee times are reserved on a first-come/first-served basis.
With the course now open for the season, membership passes can be purchased in person when arriving for a scheduled tee time. Membership pricing options are as follows:
- Residents (16-60 years of age) – $350
- Residents (60+ years of age) – $300
- Non-residents (16-60 years of age) – $400
- Non-residents (60+ years of age) – $350
