TBM looking for volunteers to join a local board and committee

Library board and economic development advisory committee are each seeking a public member to join

The Town of The Blue Mountains needs volunteers for two local boards and committees.

The town is seeking applications, in the form of letters of interest, from members of the public to fill vacancies on the Economic Development Advisory Committee and the Blue Mountains Public Library Board. The appointments run concurrent with the term of council, being 2022-2026.

The Economic Development Advisory Committee is a nine member committee with three council members and five members of the public have been appointed. The committee is seeking one member of the public to join.

The Blue Mountains Public Library Board is an eight member board with one council member and six public members have been appointed. The board is seeking one member of the public to join.

Applicants are encouraged to include background information and any special qualifications or interest related to the appointment. Applicants may apply for more than one committee and/or board, and are asked to submit separate applications for each committee/board.

Applicants are required to be qualified electors within the Town of The Blue Mountains

All applications should be submitted no later than Friday November 24, 2023 at 1 p.m. to:
