About the 2022 Proposed Town Budget

The 2022 proposed town budget strives to balance the immediate needs of the community with sound long-term financial planning. The operating budget focuses on maintaining existing service levels, while finding opportunities for service efficiency. The capital budget includes $56.7 million for a variety of municipal infrastructure projects planned throughout the community.

The 2022 proposed town budget focuses on continuing to position the town for the future which is illustrated through the $8.6M to expand the roads and drainage depot in Ravenna, and $5.1M to start the phase-two expansion at the town’s landfill and recycling depot. In addition, the budget continues to improve town-owned and operated infrastructure through projects such as the substandard water main replacement, the road resurfacing program, and various machinery and equipment replacements.
