The Beaver Valley Development Group will hold public information sessions about the Talisman lands on Tuesday, Dec. 6.

The company, which owns two pieces of the former Talisman ski resort in Kimberley, will host the sessions at the Kimberley Hall from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. and from 7:30 p.m. to 9 p.m.

A second, virtual only meeting, will be held on Thursday, Dec. 8 from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.

These sessions are the second of three planned over the coming months to collaborate with the community on the directions for the development of the Talisman lands.

Beaver Valley Development Group has retained The Planning Partnership to lead the early stages of the development process. At the sessions, The Planning Partnership will give a presentation that provides an overview of the development process, the planning context of the lands, what the company has heard so far and land-use options under consideration.

Information about the first public information session can be found here. The Kimberley Hall has a 60-person capacity and those interested in attending are encouraged to register to the session that best fits their schedule here.
