One new case of COVID-19 reported in Grey Highlands today

The Municipality of Grey Highlands has seen a total of 66 cases and currently has three active cases

The Grey Bruce Health Unit (GBHU) is reporting nine new cases of COVID-19 in the region today. 

The nine new cases are located in Huron Kinloss (2), Arran-Elderslie, Kincardine, Meaford, Owen Sound, South Bruce, Saugeen Shores and Grey Highlands. 

The health unit has reported a total of 603 cases in the region to date, and notes there are 53 active cases in both counties combined. 

Two individuals from the region are being hospitalized.

Active cases in Grey County are currently located in Owen Sound (11), Southgate (3), Grey Highlands (3), Meaford (2), West Grey (8), The Blue Mountains (3), Hanover (5), Georgian Bluffs (2) and Chatsworth (4). 

The health unit is currently tracking 154 high-risk contacts associated with active cases.

Of GBHU’s 603 cumulative cases, 514 cases have recovered and 36 cases were referred to other health units.

Lab-confirmed COVID-19 cases in Grey County include: Owen Sound (104); Southgate (79); Grey Highlands (66); Meaford (26); West Grey (44); Blue Mountains (38); Hanover (27); Georgian Bluffs (6); Chatsworth (7).
