Fifth COVID-19 case confirmed in The Blue Mountains

The health unit is now reporting 91 total cases of COVID-19. 73 have recovered.

The Grey Bruce Public Health Unit (GBHU) is reporting one new lab-confirmed case of COVID-19 in the Town of the Blue Mountains (TBM) today.

TBM has now seen a total of five confirmed COVID-19 cases, with the first case being reported on April 27.

The GBHU is now reporting 91 total cases of COVID-19, of which, 73 have recovered.

Two long-term care (LTC) facilities in Bruce County remain in outbreak status - Parkview Manor in Chesley and Golden Dawn in Lion's Head.

GBHU also confirms that universal testing has been completed at 18 of 19 LTC facilities.

There have been no deaths or hospitalizations due to COVID-19 in the GBHU region. 

Confirmed COVID-19 cases in Grey County include - Owen Sound (44); Southgate (9); Grey Highlands (6); West Grey (5); Blue Mountains (5); Georgian Bluffs (1); Meaford (1); Chatsworth (1); Hanover (0). Bruce County currently has 19 confirmed cases.
