The Town of The Blue Mountains is reminding the travelling public that Grey County will be doing road work to local county roads over the next few months.

This week the town advised that the county would be completing two major projects on key county roads during the course of the summer months.

The Grey Road 2 rehabilitation project is scheduled from early May to late July from the intersection of Grey Road 119 south to the intersection of Grey Road 19. This project will include alternating lane closures at times.

The Grey Road 13 (Beaver Valley Road) pulverize-and-pave project is scheduled from mid-June to late August from the Beaver River Bridge north to the 10th Line Clarksburg. This project will include alternating lane closures at times.

The public is reminded that planned construction dates are estimates, and that projects may be impacted by weather conditions and other delays.

Travellers to the area are asked to plan their routes accordingly, and allow extra time to safely reach their destination if travelling through a construction zone. Obey all posted signage and use extra caution when workers are present.
