Victim sustained 'serious injuries' in Wasaga Beach stabbing

WASAGA BEACH - On Sept. 3, 2018 at approximately 4:25 a.m., members of the Huronia West Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police and Simcoe County Paramedic Service responded to a 911 call for service that a male had been stabbed at a Main Street address.

Upon arrival at the residence, emergency services personnel located a male victim who sustained serious injuries to the upper body. The 29-year old victim from Etobicoke was transported to Collingwood General and Marine Hospital with serious, but non-life threatening injuries.

Police are appealing to the public in assisting with identifying two males observed fleeing the area in a white vehicle.
