Police have confirmed human remains found Sunday in Georgian Bay Township are those of a man who went missing in 2018.
On Oct. 17, 2018, Eric Spencer, 60, of Thornbury, was reported missing. He was last seen in the area of South Bay Road and Honey Harbour Road.
On Sunday, human remains were found in a wooded area near that intersection by members of Please Bring Me Home, a volunteer search organization, according to a news release from Southern Georgian Bay OPP.
No foul play is suspected.
