Two suspects have been arrested and charged in an incident earlier this week at the Collingwood Grain Terminals.
Reports of a break-in at the Collingwood Grain Terminals had police and their canine unit at the site for most of Tuesday afternoon, after OPP received a report of parties observed on the roof of the Collingwood landmark.
Police provided an update to CollingwoodToday on Thursday that on Aug. 1, members of the OPP arrested two males in their 20s from Mont-Saint-Hilare, Que. in relation to the incident.
The duo has been charged with breaking and entering, mischief and possession of break-in instruments.
On Tuesday, police told CollingwoodToday that the emergency response unit and the canine unit were on site searching the area for suspects throughout the afternoon, and noted OPP had cleared the scene that evening.
The two accused have been released on undertakings to attend Collingwood court at a future date.
