Police have released the identity of a man who was found dead in Orillia last week and have charged two people with second-degree murder.
On Dec. 14 at about 11:30 p.m., police responded to a residence on Andrew Street South and found the man dead.
In a news release, Orillia OPP identified the deceased as Kyle Farrows, 25, of Orillia.
A postmortem examination Sunday determined the death was the result of a homicide.
The same day, police arrested two people.
Brian Allen Lancaster, 36, of Orillia, and Mackenzie Harrod, 18, of Midland, have both been charged with second-degree murder. They are being held in custody and are set to appear in court Monday in Orillia.
