Police are investigating after an elderly woman drowned in Meaford on Saturday.
Shortly after 11 a.m., Grey Bruce OPP received a report of a possible drowning in Meaford Harbour. Emergency crews pulled the 81-year-old Meaford woman from the water. She was unresponsive and was subsequently pronounced dead.
