Traffic complaint leads to impaired driving charge for Wasaga Beach woman

WASAGA BEACH - On July 19, 2018 at approximately 9:56 p.m., members of the Huronia West Detachment on the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) in the Township of Wasaga Beach, responded to a traffic complaint reported by the public of a motor vehicle exhibiting signs that the driver maybe impaired.

OPP located this motor vehicle on Shore Lane just east of 61st Street and quickly determined that the driver was operating it while under the influence of alcohol.

Charged with care or control over 80 mgs is Laura Snell, 58 years old from Wasaga Beach, Ont. First appearance is Aug. 14, 2018 in Collingwood court.
