Police are looking for three suspects after someone reported an attempted theft of snow blowers from a Meaford business Wednesday.
At about 6:15 a.m., Grey Bruce OPP received a call about three people attempting to steal snow blowers from the business on Highway 26 between Ridge Road and 7th Line.
The caller was driving to work and saw the suspects attempting to remove snow blowers from the business. Someone in a white full-size van picked up the suspects and took off, heading east on Highway 26. The suspects did not make off with any merchandise, police said in a news release.
The suspects are described as males with dark skin. They were wearing dark winter clothing.
Anyone with information or video surveillance along the Highway 26 area from between 6 and 6:30 a.m. Wednesday is asked to call OPP at 1-888-310-1122. Information can be provided anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 or crimestop-gb.org.
