Suspected cocaine, fentanyl seized at Meaford residence: OPP

MEAFORD - On Thursday, Sept. 17, 2020 at 6:05 a.m., members of Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Grey-Bruce and Huron-Perth Community Street Crime Units, with assistance from OPP Emergency Response Team, executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act (CDSA) search warrant at a residence at Victoria Street in Meaford. 

As a result of the search warrant, police seized cocaine, fentanyl and drug paraphernalia.

Grey Bruce OPP have charged Brandy Forbes, 42 years of age, of Meaford with two counts of possession of a controlled substance, section 4(1) CDSA.

The accused was released on an Undertaking and will appear in Ontario Court of Justice in Owen Sound on Oct. 22, 2020.
