School bus driver charged after colliding into car on Highway 10: OPP

Police say there were a total of 16 people on the bus; Two sustained minor injuries

On Feb. 3, 2020 at 7:18 a.m. Grey Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were dispatched to a motor vehicle collision on Highway 10 south of Flesherton, Grey County involving a school bus and (grey) car. The car was rear ended by the school bus.

OPP officers attended and found two persons with minor injuries. The driver of the car and a passenger on the school bus were transported by ambulance to hospital. There were a total of 16 people on the school bus, one driver and 15 high school students.

Grey Bruce OPP have charged the driver of the school bus, a 70-year-old from Flesherton, with careless driving. 

Officers continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the collision.
