Scarborough man faces numerous charges in Clearview shooting case

CLEARVIEW TWP. – On March 2, 2020, at approximately 12:35 a.m., members of the Huronia West Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a shooting incident at a residence on Collingwood Clearview Townline, near 36/37 Nottawasaga Sideroad. 

A male victim was transported to a Toronto-area hospital and treated for non-life-threatening injuries. 

Members of the Toronto Police Service (TPS) located a deceased male that same morning in the City of Toronto, believed to have succumbed to his injuries as a result of the shooting.

The deceased has been identified as Rohan Rose, 36 years of age, of Toronto. 

A 48-year-old Toronto resident was previously charged in this case.

On Sept. 2, 2020, detectives and members of the OPP Tactics and Rescue Unit (TRU) executed a warrant on Village Green Circle in Scarborough. Marvin Lattif, 33 years old of Scarborough, was arrested and charged with:  

  • Robbery using firearm  
  • Careless use of a firearm  
  • Indignity to a dead body  
  • Attempt to commit murder using firearm  
  • Discharge firearm intent  
  • Aggravated assault  
  • Break and enter 
  • Occupying a vehicle known to contain a firearm 
  • Possession of a firearm in contravention of a prohibition order

An arrest warrant has been issued for another male. Rick Christopher Graham, age 32 of Brampton also faces charges in relation to this case.
