Clearview Fire Chief Scott Davison has confirmed a barn fire last night on Poplar Sideroad is currently considered "suspicious."

An empty barn on the boundary of Clearview and Collingwood burned to the ground on May 22. Davison said all Clearview stations responded and firefighters were shuttling water with tankers to fight the blaze. The call came in around 5:30 p.m. and the road was closed while fire crews worked on scene.

The cause of the fire has not been confirmed yet.
