Police seek suspects after stolen credit cards used in Wasaga

Police say officers were called to investigate a theft of credit and debit cards from a vehicle, and later found those cards were used at various retail locations around Wasaga Beach

Huronia West OPP have released these images of suspects connected to a police investigation into theft and the use of stolen credit and debit cards to make purchases in Wasaga Beach.

Police have released security camera images of two suspects they say are linked to a theft in Wasaga Beach in August that involved stolen credit cards being used in local shops. 

The Huronia West detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police released the photos today, Oct. 10, in connection with their investigation into a theft on Aug. 24. Police say they were called because credit and debit cards were stolen from a vehicle in Wasaga Beach. 

"Following the report, it was discovered that the cards had been used at multiple locations to make fraudulent purchases," states a news release from OPP. "Police are releasing images of the suspects and are requesting the assistance of the public to help identify them."

The investigation is ongoing.
