Police search for suspect in attempted theft

Area police are searching for a second suspect connected to their investigation into an attempted theft of a boat motor in Wasaga Beach.

Police have released a security camera image of the alleged suspect with a call out for public assistance identifying the person. 

On Oct. 2, around 4:20 a.m. Huronia West Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers responded to a call about an attempted theft of a boat motor from a residence on Mosley Street in Wasaga Beach. 

One man was arrested and charged, and police are now looking for a second male suspect. 

Police ask anyone who recognizes the man in the security photo to call Huronia West OPP at 705-429-3575 or 1-888-310-1122.
