The Salvation Army, together with auxiliary officers from the Collingwood and The Blue Mountains Ontario Provincial Police detachment will be collecting food and toys to give away at Christmas.
The joint-effort food and toy drive includes a "cram a cruiser" event next weekend (Dec. 3) at the Collingwood Walmart from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The team will be accepting donations of new, unwrapped toys and non-perishable food items for the Salvation Army.
"Any donation will go a long way," states a news release from Collingwood OPP.
