Police lay stunt driving charges in Flesherton, Chatsworth

One driver was clocked doing 185 km/h, and the other 165 in 80 km/h zones

GREY HIGHLANDS - On June 21, 2020 at 3:32 a.m. Grey Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) stopped a blue car, on Highway 10, in the Village of Flesherton in Grey County. This car was travelling over 165 kilometres per hour (km/hr) in the posted 80 km/hr speed limit. 

Grey Bruce OPP have charged the driver, Kaiyang Xu, 22 years old from Toronto, with stunt driving - 50km/h or more over posted speed limit, contrary to section 172(1) Highway Traffic Act (HTA).

CHATSWORTH - On June 21, 2020 at 7:55 a.m. Grey Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) stopped a dark coloured car, on Highway 6 & 10, near Sunny Valley Road in Grey County. This car was travelling over 185 kilometres per hour (km/hr) in the posted 80 km/hr speed limit.  

Grey Bruce OPP have charged the driver, Arnold Momanyi, 23 years old from Brampton, with stunt driving - 50km/h or more over posted speed limit, contrary to section 172(1) Highway Traffic Act (HTA).

Both of these drivers were issued seven-day drivers licence suspensions and their vehicles were towed and will be impounded for seven days.
