Police have confirmed the situation on Pretty River Road has now been resolved. Const. Trevor McKean confirmed the incident involved a person in crisis who is now being offered help. In the interest of privacy for the individual, police will not be releasing any more details.

Ontario Provincial Police from the Collingwood/TheBlue Mountains detachment are currently investigating a "serious incident" in the Pretty River Road area.
Const. Trevor McKean, a local OPP spokesperson, said he couldn't release too many details, other than it's an ongoing investigation, and it's serious.
He wouldn't elaborate on what other units have been called in to assist in the investigation. He said more details would be released later.
According to social media posts from Collingwood OPP, there will be a heavy police presence in the area.
The investigation is taking place in the area between Sideroads 33/34 and 30/31 around the Pretty River Road.
