Police investigate break-and-enter at Stayner Tim Hortons

Officers at the Huronia West detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police are currently investigating a break-and-enter at the Stayner Tim Hortons. 

According to police, a call came in for the break and enter at about 1 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 17 to the Tim Hortons on Highway 26 in Stayner. 

"Upon arrival, police met with employees and learned forced entry was made into the business," stated a news release from police. 

OPP report a "large sum of money was found to be missing from the scene." 

Police called in Central Forensic Investigation Services to assist with the investigation. 

A description of the suspect suggests he is a large-statured male who was wearing a grey Reebok hoody, dark pants, and dark shoes with red laces. He also wore a black balaclava and carried a light-grey backpack. 

Police released images from security cameras to help identify the suspect. Anyone with information on the incident or the suspect is asked to call Huronia West OPP at 1-888-310-1122 or leave an anonymous tip with Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477, or online at ontariocrimestoppers.ca.
