Police hoping to nail down details on construction site theft

A suspect or suspects stole numerous power tools from a Cranberry Trail East construction site overnight last week.

Officers from the Collingwood and The Blue Mountains detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police are investigating a theft incident in Collingwood and are asking for the public's assistance in solving this crime.

The theft took place sometime overnight from March 22 to 23, 2019 at a construction site on Cranberry Trail East near Royalton Lane in Collingwood. Suspect(s) gained access to a locked trailer and stole numerous tools including six Dewalt cordless nailers, 5 Dewalt cordless saws, 5 Paslode air nailers, 5 Stiletto hammers, 2 Paslode nailers and a Bostitch Strapshot nailer.
