OPP investigating home invasion in Clearview this week

Police are asking the public to assist by providing information and video surveillance from the Fisher Street area

The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) at the Huronia West detachment are asking for information and video footage to aid an investigation into a home invasion in Clearview Township this week. 

OPP report the invasion happened on Nov. 7 around 6:50 a.m. at a home on Fisher Street. Police were called for a break-and-enter. 

"As a result of the investigation, police are requesting the assistance of the public," states a news release. "If you have any information, video surveillance footage or dash cam footage that may assist investigators, please contact the Huronia West OPP at 705-429-3575 or 1-888-310-1122. 

Police are also taking this time to urge home and business owners to look at the property security tips offered by the OPP here: OPP Safeguard Ontario Property Security Program.

"There is no concern for public safety at this time," states the news release.
