STAYNER — Members of the Huronia West detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have arrested three youths after receiving reports of a firearm being discharged from a motor vehicle.
The incident took place shortly before 4 p.m. Saturday, when officers received reports of a firearm being discharged from a black coloured van located in a parking lot in Stayner.
Officers located the vehicle in the parking lot on County Road 42 where a high risk takedown resulted in the arrest of three youth and the seizure of three replica firearms which were found in the vehicle. (see attached photo of one of the seized replica firearms)
Investigation is ongoing at this time and further details will be released when they become available.
