Negro Creek Road sign stolen second time in under a month

Police are investigating the theft of multiple road signs from the area overnight on Feb. 19 to 20

Negro Creek Road is located in Chatsworth Township.

The Grey Bruce OPP confirmed road signs have once again been stolen from Negro Creek Road in Chatsworth. 

This is the second time in under a month the road sign has been taken, and residents in the area say the sign is regularly stolen. 

According to OPP, several road signs were stolen from Negro Creek Road sometime between Feb. 19 and 20. 

An OPP release states the following signs are still missing:

  • "Negro Creek Road" sign from the corner of Negro Creek Road and Concession Road 3B
  • "60 KPH" speed sign from Concession Road 2, south of Side Road 60
  • "Watch for Children" sign from Negro Creek Road, east of 6 Hwy
