Hamilton pair charged for break and enter in The Blue Mountains

THE BLUE MOUNTAINS – Officers from the Collingwood and The Blue Mountains detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), with the assistance of the OPP Canine Unit and OPP Emergency Response Team (ERT), arrested two parties in relation to a break and enter in The Blue Mountains last night. 

On Jan. 27 2021 at approximately 10 p.m. OPP officers were dispatched to a break and enter in progress at a residence on Grey Road 19 in The Blue Mountains. Upon arrival it was found that the suspects had fled the area which led to the OPP Canine Unit and OPP ERT members being dispatched to the scene where they subsequently located the males. 

Charged are 40-year-old Christopher Bikker and 33 year-old Michael Ladniak, both from Hamilton.

They both face charges of:

  • Break and enter,
  • Mischief and theft Under $5000

and are to appear in at the Ontario Court of Justice in Owen Sound on Feb. 25 2021.
