Gun shot wounds sustained at Hurontario Street apartment say police

(COLLINGWOOD - Members of the Crime Unit from the Collingwood and The Blue Mountains detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are continuing their investigation into an incident where a male sustained injuries inflicted by a firearm. 

Shortly after 7:00 p.m. on Feb. 16, 2020 OPP officers were notified of a male at a local hospital with gunshot wounds where it was later found that the incident itself took place at an apartment on Hurontario Street near Fourth Street in Collingwood. 

The male was later transferred to a Toronto area hospital with non-life threatening injuries and has since been released. Investigation is ongoing at this time and there is no concern for public safety.
