Police were called to the Collingwood Home Depot last week after two people left the store with stolen merchandise, dinging an employee on the leg with a shopping cart as they pushed past.

According to Collingwood OPP, two unidentified people took items from the store on Dec. 9 at around 6 p.m. At the exit were asked by an employee to provide a receipt.

Instead, they continued on and struck the employee on the lower leg with the cart, reported OPP.

The two suspects then got into a white SUV with the stolen goods and left the parking lot.

Collingwood OPP said there was no video or photo surveillance available for the investigation.
