SPRINGWATER TOWNSHIP - On March 14, 2019, around 1:30 p.m., members of the Huronia West OPP, Springwater Fire Department and Simcoe County Paramedics responded to a work related emergency east of Phlepston, ON. During the investigation, it was learned that a 73-year-old Elmvale man had been pinned under a truck he was working on.
The male was taken to a local hospital with injuries to his face and shoulder. He remains in hospital in stable condition.
The Ministry of Labour has been notified and is investigating the work related incident.
