A Meaford man has been charged after police responded to the report of a vehicle in a ditch Tuesday.
At about 11:30 a.m., Grey Bruce OPP responded to the scene on Bayshore Road in Meaford. When they arrived, police said, the driver had left the scene. They located him shortly after and charged the 41-year-old man with operation while impaired and operation while impaired (blood-alcohol concentration 80-plus).
He was released and is set to appear in Owen Sound court at a later date.
