You can take a virtual tour of Clearview's new library

CLEARVIEW PUBLIC LIBRARY

The Clearview Public Library is excited to share a virtual tour of the new Stayner Branch of the Clearview Public Library. The new branch, located at 269 Regina Street in Stayner, began offering curbside service in June and though it remains closed, staff are working towards a safe reopening.   

The virtual tour highlights many of the COVID-19 safety protocols being implemented such as physically distanced computers and glass partitions. In accordance with the Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit’s mandate, all patrons and staff will be required to wear masks. Additionaly, late fees have been waived for the remainder of 2020 and curbside service will continue to be offered for those who wish to use it.  

The tour also highlights many of the facility improvements such as:  

  • Lower shelving and wider aisles for accessibility and comfort
  • Lounge area with fireplace
  • Children’s area
  • Lots of public computer access throughout and a new printer
  • Natural light and rural views from the large windows
  • Tutorial and group study rooms with outlets and wireless internet access
  • New materials
