Two new COVID cases in TBM today

Health unit reported seven new cases in the Grey-Bruce region today

The Grey Bruce Health Unit has reported two new COVID cases in The Blue Mountains and five others in the Grey-Bruce region in the last 24 hours. 

The other five cases reported include one case each in Arran Elderslie, Brockton, Chatsworth, Kincardine, and Saugeen Shores. 

There are 22 active cases in the region, and the health unit is currently tracking 101 high-risk contacts. 

Twelve of the active cases are in Grey County, including two in The Blue Mountains, four in Owen Sound, two in Southgate, and four in Chatsworth. 

There is one COVID-19 case associated with Notre Dame Catholic School in Owen Sound, but no other school cases have been reported by the health unit.

There are two people hospitalized in Grey Bruce with COVID-19 and one person from Grey-Bruce is hospitalized outside of the region. 

More than 77 per cent of the region's eligible population has received two doses of a COVID-19 vaccine, and about 26 per cent of the region's total population (including children) is unvaccinated.
