Simcoe-Grey all-candidates meeting Tuesday

Six candidates have confirmed they will participate in the all-candidates meeting.

Local provincial election candidates will go head-to-head in a public debate this week.

The Chamber of Commerce is hosting the all-candidates meeting Tuesday, May 15 at 7 p.m. at the Collingwood Legion.

Six Simcoe-Grey candidates have confirmed including Jim Wilson (PC), Jesseca Perry (Green), Dan Hambly (Liberal), David Matthews (NDP), William Gordon (None of the Above Party) and John Wright (Libertarian).

Candidates will be given five minutes for an opening speech then will receive questions from a local media panel, including reporter Erika Engel from CollingwoodToday.ca. There will also be an opportunity for the public to submit questions in writing before the debate begins.

Candidates will then have two minutes for closing comments.

The debate is open to the public and will be broadcast by Rogers.
