The County of Simcoe reminds residents of the following schedule changes during this 2023 Labour Day long weekend:
Waste Facilities and Curbside Waste Collection
- There will be no changes to your regular curbside waste collection schedule on the holiday. Ensure you have your materials curbside by 7 a.m. on your regular collection day
- All County Waste Facilities are closed on Monday, Sept. 4 (with the exception of Matchedash)
LINX Transit
- LINX Transit services are not in operation on Monday, Sept. 4, except Route 4, which will operate on a Sunday service schedule
- The regular schedules will resume on Tuesday, Sept. 5
- Please visit https://nextlinx.simcoe.ca/ to check schedules
County Administration Centre (Midhurst)
- The Administration Centre will be closed to the public on Monday, Sept. 4
Ontario Works and Children Services Offices
- All Ontario Works and Children Services offices are closed on Monday, Sept. 4
Simcoe County Museum
- The Museum is open between 10 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 4

Simcoe County Archives
- The Archives are closed on Monday, Sept. 4
