Simcoe County paramedics kick off 19th annual toy drive

Paramedics collecting donations Saturday in Elmvale, Collingwood and Alliston; Unwrapped toys can also be dropped off at three Barrie locations

County of Simcoe Paramedic Services kicked off the 19th annual Toy Drive on Nov. 12, 2021, benefitting local children and families during the holiday season. Virtual donations, along with new, unwrapped toys and food will be accepted at various locations across Simcoe County until Dec. 22, 2021. Visit simcoe.ca/toydrive to learn more.

This weekend, paramedics will be collecting donations on Saturday, Nov. 20 at the following locations:

Alliston Santa Claus Parade, 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.
Elmvale Foodland, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Collingwood Santa Claus Parade, 5 to 6 p.m.

Please note, enhanced safety protocols will be followed at each event.

A reminder that Paramedics are encouraging residents to consider donating virtually by clicking here.

Donations can also be made at the County of Simcoe Administration Centre, 1110 Highway 26 in Midhurst between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. and at all County of Simcoe Paramedic Services stations, where outdoor drop boxes are now available (please do not leave monetary donations in drop boxes – only non-perishable food items and new, unwrapped toys).
