A local home décor shop is hosting a multi-business market this weekend with a charitable component in support of services for people who don't have a home of their own.

Kasia Azcurra, owner of White Hill Home in Duntroon, has curated a local shopping event in her shop featuring five local small businesses.

Instead of charging an event fee to the participating businesses, Azcurra has asked them all to donate to the Busby Centre, which operates homeless shelter services in Barrie and Collingwood. Donations made from the weekend event will go to support the work being done in Collingwood for individuals and families experiencing or at risk of homelessness.

The businesses featured at White Hill Home this weekend will include Dawe & Co (women's apparel), Woven Handmade (baskets), The Croft House (wood bead garlands), Stems and Root Studio (fresh florals), and Throwback Design Co. (vintage-inspired wood signs).

The market will be at White Hill Home, at 2791 County Road 124, on Saturday, Nov. 20 and Sunday, Nov. 21 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Complete event details can be found on the White Hill Home Facebook page.
