The Events for Life program has opened its cafe at the Beaver Valley Community Centre for the second year.
The cafe is run by participants in the Events for Life program, which supports adults with special needs, offering workplace experience and life skills under supervision of Events for Life staff.
The arena cafe is open Monday to Friday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. There are also special hours for some Friday night curling and during the weekends for hockey tournaments and Apple Kings home games on Saturday nights.
The cafe offers grab-and-go food like coffee and muffins, and there is some seating for lunch orders.
