Special weather statement in effect for:
  • Hanover - Dundalk - Southern Grey County
  • Owen Sound - Blue Mountains - Northern Grey County
  • Saugeen Shores - Kincardine - Southern Bruce County

Early season snowfall expected on Sunday.

Periods of snow are expected to track through southwestern Ontario Sunday afternoon and Sunday night. A general snowfall of 2 to 6 cm is expected across many locales inland from the lakes. However, local snowfall amounts up to 10 cm are possible in areas where temperatures are able to remain near or below the zero degree mark during the snowfall.

There is still some uncertainty in the snowfall amounts as snow could be mixed with rain and reduce the snowfall accumulation.

Note that impacts may be limited somewhat as warm ground temperatures will aid in some melting of the snow.
