Collingwood Garden Club is hosting a fall plant sale on Sept. 10 at the Collingwood Arboretum.
Most plants will be for sale for $5, and only cash will be accepted. The sale runs 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Also this month, the club is hosting author Julia Dimakos, who wrote Tea Gardening for Beginners. Dimakos will be giving a talk about putting the vegetable garden to bed for the winter. The talk will be at 7:30 p.m. on Sept. 14 at Trinity United Church.
There will be copies of Dimakos' book available as door prizes and she will have seeds to sell at the event.
