Heat. Fleet. Meat.

These three topics will be discussed as part of a facilitated conversation series on May 24 put on by the Collingwood Climate Action Team (CCAT) in an effort to gather input to build a better community.

Called Stronger Together: Part II, the session will explore different ways residents can heat their homes, use active transportation and consume less meat products as a way to live a greener life.

Attendees will spend 20 minutes at three stations learning and discussing each topic.

At the heat station, attendees will learn about heat pumps, home tours, and how to apply for grants to help with the costs of heating homes in a greener way.

As part of the fleet station, attendees will learn about active transportation, how CCAT and the town are working to improve active transportation in Collingwood, and an upcoming bike event in June.

At the meat station, participants will learn about how to make a climate impact through food choices.

Stronger Together: Part II will take place on May 24 at 6:30 p.m. at the Leisure Time Club at 100 Minnesota St.
