Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF) CT-155 Hawk aircraft will be flying between 4 Wing Cold Lake, Alta., 15 Wing Moose Jaw, Sask., and Collingwood, Ont., between March 22 and 31, 2024.
After reaching the end of their service lives, the CT-155 Hawks were recently retired as RCAF jet pilot trainers and will now find a new home and new life as maintenance trainers at the Canadian Forces School of Aerospace Technology and Engineering in 16 Wing Borden, Ont., where the air force’s new generation of aircraft technicians learn their trades.
The Hawks will be stopping for fuel and crew rest at Winnipeg and Thunder Bay, Ont., before arriving at the Collingwood airport. They will be road-moved to Borden at a later date.
